Marketing / Sales Internship

Headquartered in the City of Arts & Innovation in downtown Winston Salem, NC, ILNA was established as the North American representative of Interloop Ltd., one of the world’s largest sock manufacturers – now expanded to denim, activewear, and other apparel categories.

We are seeking candidates for an extended internship working in the marketing and sales areas of the company. An internship at Interloop North America offers opportunities to engage in a fast-growing, professional organization. Our team is experienced and committed to provide interns with valuable learning in a positive environment.

Opportunities Include:

• Build relationships and drive sales with major retail customers, working directly with their departments, e.g., sourcing, merchandising, design, packaging, planning, quality, etc.

• monitor market trends and conduct market research for competitive and consumer insights

• product sample management

• retail price analysis

• digital product catalogs assessment & updates

• product and packaging development

• photo shoot coordination

• social media content assistance

• Understand the marketplace, and competitive threats to formulate actionable customer development plans

• exposure to the product lifecycle process from design, product development, sales and marketing, to customer orders

We’d like to see:

• detail orientation

• strong computer skills – Excel and PowerPoint skills would be a plus

• ability to think analytically

• ability to work collaboratively with a multi-cultural team

• good time management
